At the moment, Rashmika Mandanna is engrossed in filming her upcoming vampire-comedy project titled Thama, teaming up with Ayushmann Khurrana. On different instances, these two stars have been spotted giving behind-the-scenes peeks into their set, and most recently, Rashmika, known as Sikandar actress, posted pictures from a late-night shoot that she appeared to dislike!
A short while ago, Rashmika Mandanna shared some photos on her Instagram stories, captured on the set of Thama. In the initial snapshot, the actress is depicted nestled in a hug with a pillow, apparently taking a nap in her car following the wrap-up of filming. The sun was just beginning to rise, serving as a backdrop, and Rashmika wore a black t-shirt and cargo pants.
In another photo, she’s depicted holding a glass in her dressing room, where a message was written on the glass, “Thama Night Shoot” with a smiley face. She captioned the picture with, “Oh, night shoots! I really do adore them…very much so. Aditya_a_ sarpotdar sir is fully aware of this sentiment. #Thama.
She additionally posted another Instagram tale featuring a note alongside an image of the moon with the caption, “Night could be like…Looks like a bloody night… #Thama day 16.” In response to the actress’s post from Sikandar, the director reshared the story and commented, “Ha ha…as it goes, A picture can speak volumes.

Recently, it was disclosed in a Mid-day report that the director has restarted filming with a fresh strategy, due to a 6-week hiatus caused by Rashmika’s leg injury necessitating a halt in production.
It’s been announced that the team behind the film, who are currently working in Delhi, will relocate to Film City on March 27th. This is because sets mimicking Delhi houses and streets have been constructed there. Consequently, scenes previously intended for Delhi will now be filmed here instead. Actor Nawazaddin Siddiqui will also be joining the production team at this location.
Under the guidance of acclaimed director Aditya Sarpotdar (known for Munjya), the upcoming film Thama stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in prominent roles. Notably, it also includes Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in significant positions. This highly anticipated production by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films is scheduled to hit theaters on Diwali 2025.
