As a seasoned watch collector with a penchant for both style and sophistication, I find myself utterly captivated by Raymond Weil’s latest expansion of their iconic Millesime collection. Having worn watches that span from bulky sports models to delicate dress pieces, I can appreciate the versatility these new 35mm case sizes bring to the table.
Moving forward with the growth of its renowned Millesime series, Raymond Weil is preparing to launch five fresh models in 35mm case dimensions. These newest additions are more streamlined than ever before, and they consist of three Millesime Automatic Central Seconds styles, along with two brand-new Millesime Automatic Moon Phase designs.
The Millesime Automatic Central Seconds model comes in three color options: Burgundy, Silver, and Denim Blue dial colors. The Silver and Denim Blue versions feature a polished stainless steel case, whereas the Burgundy version is housed in a rose gold PVD case. Interestingly, only the Denim Blue variant boasts diamond-set lugs. These timepieces are driven by an RW4200 mechanical self-winding movement that offers a 41-hour power reserve and 50 meters of water resistance.
This year at Watches & Wonders Geneva, I got my eyes on the Millesime Automatic Moon Phase for the first time, housed in a timeless 39.5mm case. Now, they’ve introduced two fresh versions of this beauty, catering to those with more modest wrist sizes and enthusiasts seeking sleeker designs. Powered by the RW4280 caliber, my new Millesime Automatic Moon Phase comes in a Denim Blue dial adorned with diamond-encrusted lugs and a stainless steel case. They’ve also launched a Silver dial and rose gold PVD combo model for those who appreciate a touch of elegance.
The prices for the Millesime watches in the 35mm collection by Raymond Weil vary between $1,650 and $2,575 USD. These timepieces can be purchased from their official website or through authorized retailers of Raymond Weil.
