Captain America: A Daring New Era”
The film is almost ready to hit the big screen, but Marvel Studios has still been sharing fresh glimpses of this highly-anticipated project. One intriguing aspect in the movie that’s caught everyone’s attention is Harrison Ford portraying President Thunderbolt Ross, also known as Red Hulk. This character has been a key figure in promotional materials so far. The latest sneak peek of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film showcases the villain remarkably well. Red Hulk, in a way that somewhat resembles Donald Trump, demolishes and destroys a symbolic national monument – the White House.
In a recently shared Marvel Studios teaser, the enraged alternate form of Ford (apparently the Red Hulk) is depicted wreaking havoc on the White House while getting ready for a confrontation with Captain America played by Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson’s Captain America). It remains uncertain why he’s transforming and taking on the nation’s iconic hero, but the latest glimpse offers a brief extra look at Red Hulk from his reportedly limited screen time in the movie. At least for now, it appears that Captain America: New World Order will indeed reflect its title by altering the global and national order as we know it. While any resemblance to current events may just be a coincidence, the connection is hard to overlook.
In the fourth “Captain America” movie, it’s been announced that Ford will take over the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, a former general (now U.S. president) who first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2008’s “The Incredible Hulk.” Although he is usually an adversary to Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk, several Hulk-related villains will feature in the upcoming film titled “Brave New World“. The actor Tim Blake Nelson reappears in this movie as Samuel Sterns, who transforms into his evil counterpart, “The Leader.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Popcorn Buckets Put the Smash in Red Hulk
The upcoming movie “Captain America: Brave New World” is gearing up for a fierce competition in cinematic dominance (and it’s not just about ticket sales). In other words, it’s joining the intense battle for the popcorn supremacy, with “Dune: Part Two” and its iconic sandworm bucket currently leading the charge. Not only will the Red Hulk be doling out popcorn from his back, but viewers will have their very own Captain America shield to defend against adversaries. As for whether the shield is made of vibranium or not, that remains to be seen.
For the upcoming movie “Captain America: Brave New World,” some popcorn buckets are designed in the form of Captain America’s helmet when he’s flying with his vibranium-powered wings. Among these, the Red Hulk bucket stands out as an excellent choice, even serving as a detailed statue if not used for popcorn. AMC Theatres, Cinemark Theatres, and Alamo Drafthouse are among the theaters participating in this promotion, with Alamo Drafthouse releasing special cups for the film. Regardless of whether these promotional items sell out in theaters, it’s clear that Marvel Studios is making deliberate efforts to promote their latest sequel for “Brave New World.
In a new twist, “Captain America: Brave New World” is expected to earn approximately $85 to $95 million during the Valentine’s Day weekend. This is significantly lower than its reported production cost of $180 million, but if these estimates hold true, it should manage to recoup its expenses.
