In celebration of the 40th anniversary of one of its iconic models, Reebok, the British footwear brand, is launching a limited-edition upgrade of the Club C 85 Vintage. This shoe, which first appeared in 1985 and was designed to provide tennis players with a comfortable and dependable shoe, has since evolved into a modern classic worn worldwide due to its versatility.
From the soles to the tongues, this special edition features unique details that pay tribute to the original design.
Reebok takes a moment to reminisce, preserving the classic shape of its iconic model and amplifying its vintage charm through its design elements and materials. The upper part is made from premium white leather, which stands out against the blue Reebok logo placed on the side. Furthermore, the transparent rubber soles mimic the sneaker style of the 20th century.
On the tongue of this shoe, there’s a raised white label showcasing the Reebok logo. The backside of the shoe has an embossed “Retro 85” callout on the heel tab. Peeking inside, you’ll find a subtle “40th Anniversary” mark hidden behind the tongue tab, and a unique green Reebok graphic adorns the insole.
The new product launch by the model signals the start of a continuous release plan that will keep the festivities going till 2025, with additional limited-edition models in store. Despite being introduced over four decades ago, the popularity of this shoe remains undiminished, acting as the centerpiece for partnerships and innovative footwear designs.
