Over the past weekend, some fascinating movies and shows hit the screens, making our Saturdays and Sundays even more enjoyable. TopMob recently surveyed viewers to find out which film or series has sparked the most enthusiasm among audiences. The results are in. Do you know which one came out on top? Interestingly, it’s not a surprise as it’s Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 that took the lead.

On April 18th, TopMob carried out a survey to find out which movie or series the public was most eagerly anticipating over the weekend. The choices given were Kesari Chapter 2 starring Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday, and R. Madhavan, Logout led by Babil Khan, and Khauf featuring Monika Panwar and Rajat Kapoor.

In the second round of voting, Kesari emerged victorious with a significant lead at 69.57%, closely trailed by Logout who garnered 21.74%. Notably, only 8.70% of the votes were cast for Khauf.

Speaking of Kesari Chapter 2: The Hidden Tale of Jallianwala Bagh, the main character is portrayed by Akshay Kumar. In this movie, he takes on the persona of C. Sankaran Nair. Besides him, Ananya Panday and R. Madhavan also deliver significant performances in the film.

The movie starring Akshay Kumar is based upon the book titled “The Case That Shook the Empire.” Kesari Chapter 2 serves as a spiritual follow-up to the 2019 film Kesari, focusing on the untold account of the Jallianwala Bagh incident in 1919. This movie was released in theaters on April 18, 2025, coinciding with Good Friday, and has been met with favorable feedback.

Simultaneously, the film “Meanwhile” features Babil Khan, son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, in a leading role. He portrays an influencer striving to reach 10 million followers, but things become unpredictable when an overzealous fan snatches his phone and starts managing everything.

The film is helmed by Amit Golani and has been showcased at prominent international events such as Melbourne and Stuttgart. “Logout,” written by Biswapati Sarkar, features key performances from Rasika Dugal, Gandharv Dewan, and Nimisha Nair.

The Babil Khan-led film premiered on Zee5 from April 18, 2025.
