Revisit Iconic Gaming Soundtracks With Nintendo Music

As a gamer who has traversed the digital landscapes of Nintendo since my early childhood, I must say that the recent launch of Nintendo Music is nothing short of a dream come true. From the iconic tunes of Super Mario Bros. to the epic melodies of The Legend of Zelda, these soundtracks have been the rhythm of my life for decades.

Nintendo boasts one of the most respected game libraries, tracing back to the ’70s and the release of “EVR Race.” The company’s standing in the gaming world is exceptional due to its numerous cherished series that have thrived as exclusives on their consoles. This includes iconic titles like “Super Mario Bros.” and “Pokémon.

The Japanese firm has unexpectedly debuted Nintendo Music, a digital music platform that delivers four decades of nostalgia to its users. This platform offers an extensive collection of soundtracks from various titles such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, among others. Users can stream these songs through the app or download them for offline listening. The music library is searchable by song title, game, or even pre-made playlists curated by Nintendo. Some tracks allow for looping for 15, 30, or 60 minutes, and there’s an option to exclude songs that might spoil future gameplay experiences. To add to the excitement, since it’s integrated with a Nintendo Switch Online membership, it provides personalized recommendations based on your gaming history.

The new platform has been made accessible immediately for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers based in the US and Canada. This service costs $4 per month or $20 annually. Additionally, it’s reported that more music will be added to Nintendo Music at a future time.

From bopping around town to getting things done, there’s a Super Mario song to match your mood!

Nintendo Music is available now on smart devices, exclusively to #NintendoSwitchOnline members.
