Reviver hits storefronts later this month, letting you remake history with one small change

  • Reviver, the narrative point-and-click adventure, now has an official release date
  • It’ll hit storefronts on January 21st according to its iOS listing
  • Reviver sees you make tiny changes with big effects to reunite star-crossed lovers

This year seems to be one where we might need to echo some information more often due to extensive adjustments and reorganization. For instance, we’ve set a release date for our upcoming, story-driven, time-based point-and-click game, Reviver!

Over the past few months, we’ve discussed Reviver on several occasions – initially to announce its upcoming launch and later to examine the listings it had eventually received. Now, it appears that developer CottonGame is almost sticking to their proposed winter release date, as Reviver is scheduled to be available for purchase on January 21st across various storefronts.

Intriguing tale titled “Reviver” places you in the role of a metaphorical butterfly, so to speak. You observe the lives of two star-crossed lovers who are supposedly meant to never meet. By subtly altering circumstances, you’ll see how significant your actions can be in defying fate and ultimately reuniting them. From the perspective of a solitary room, you watch over their lives as well as the world at large.

Currently, I don’t expect Reviver to be a revolutionary masterpiece redefining mobile gaming. Nevertheless, I believe it’s definitely worth checking out once it launches because the concept appears to be quite innovative, something that I haven’t encountered before in my gaming experience.

The concept of narrating the tale of these two individuals exclusively by observing and interpreting items within this solitary room is quite innovative, and it might dissuade certain individuals. However, if successfully executed and impactful enough, I believe its effect could be equally profound or even surpass some other more theatrically emotional works in the genre.

It could potentially be included among the top mobile games for 2025 (thus far). All we can do now is watch and find out!
