Robosen Returns With Another $600 USD Robotic Buzz Lightyear Figure

As a long-time Toy Story fan who’s been through countless viewings and even a few trips to Andy’s room, I must admit that my heart skipped a beat when I saw this Robosen Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Robotic Action Figure! Growing up with Buzz, Woody, and the gang, it feels like a dream come true to have one of them in real life (well, sort of).

As a passionate fan, I’m thrilled to share that Robosen’s brilliant robotics team is back at it again! This time they’ve partnered with Disney and Pixar to breathe life into none other than Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story as a robotic figure. You might remember their 2022 project, a robotic Buzz based on the Lightyear movie. But this time, they’ve taken things way beyond infinity! The Toy Story-inspired Buzz has been meticulously developed over the past three years.

Upon a closer inspection of the robot, it boasts a wide range of functions, starting with its movable eyes and mouth. The right hand carries his light-up laser and emits the sound associated with it, one of more than 200 authentic Disney audio clips it includes. On the left arm, you can open and close the wrist communicator to access Star Command mission logs using predetermined actions. Buzz’s jetpack wings can expand and retract, causing flashing green and red lights. Fans may recall “Spanish Buzz” from Toy Story 3, which can be activated by pressing the green chest button. The blue button triggers “Demo Mode,” while the red one summons his “Inner Voice.” For personalization, each figure comes with an additional footplate for writing your name and interchangeable hands for various poses. Additionally, it offers voice control, app control modes, and programming options via a mobile or web-based app.

If you’re interested in securing Robosen’s latest Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Robotic Action Figure, you can pre-order it through Disney for $599 USD. As of now, the release date is set for November 11.
