Daryl McCormack, an Irish actor, shares a credit with Barnard in the Netflix series “Peaky Blinders,” where he portrayed Isaiah Jesus in a recurring role. However, he is more famously recognized for his lead performance in one of Hulu’s top movies, “Good Luck to You, Leo Grande.” More recently, McCormack made a brief yet impactful appearance in the film “Twisters,” which had an actual tornado on set.
Reece Shearsmith
Reece Shearsmith, a two-time BAFTA winner, has not only appeared on “Doctor Who”, but he’s also had multiple encounters with extraterrestrials. The mastermind behind Rogue Trooper is Gerry Finley-Day, with Dave Gibbons, renowned for his work on Watchmen (recently adapted into an animated movie), providing the illustrations. Duncan Jones is both writing and directing the film, Rogue Trooper. This is the same person who made his mark in feature films with the critically acclaimed Moon, released in the 2000s. Following this success, he directed movies like Source Code, Warcraft, and a Netflix production titled Mute, which was released in 2018.
Apart from Stuart Fenegan and the Kingsley brothers (Jason and Chris), Jones is also collaborating on the film’s production. Interestingly, this is their second try at bringing Rogue Trooper to life on screen. Previously, as reported by Daily Record, renowned comic book writer Grant Morrison was slated to write the adaptation.
