As a long-time gamer of K-pop and its associated culture, I must say that the collaboration between BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ and Bruno Mars on “APT” has truly excited me to my very core! Being a fan who grew up listening to both artists, witnessing this fusion of their unique talents is nothing short of magical.
BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ has teamed up with Bruno Mars for the release of their new collab, “APT.”
The track, which is the lead single for ROSÉ’s first studio album titled “rosie,” was jointly created by Cirkut, Omer Fedi, Rogét Chahayed, and Mars himself. Accompanying the song is an entertaining music video directed by Daniel Ramos and Mars.
In a statement, ROSÉ revealed that “APT.” is her favorite Korean drinking game, which she enjoys playing with friends. She shared that the game is easy, fun, and great for breaking the ice at any gathering. One evening in the studio, she introduced her team to the game, captivating everyone, particularly when she started the chant. Inspired by this, they experimented with the chant and decided to turn it into a song. After Bruno joined the project, the rest, as they say, is history!
On December 6, we can expect the release of an album titled “rosie,” which consists of twelve tracks. This is said to be Rosé’s most intimate and honest work yet, as she has personally written each track for this project.
