We were mindful of the budget constraints while striving to create a quality movie. After all, we’re not working with a blank check; we have a responsibility to our investors to ensure their investment is well spent. Adding more characters or requesting expensive props could potentially lead us into a situation where we can’t deliver on our promises, and that’s something I always aim to avoid.
In essence, even though Deadpool 3 featured numerous notable appearances, Levy, Reynolds, and their team had to be selective about who they included due to the complex financial and legal aspects involved with each actor’s return. Unfortunately, this meant that Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, and the entire Fantastic Four crew were not part of the film. I apologize for any disappointment this may cause.
