Later in the show, she added a matching feathered robe for “Please Please Please” before returning to perform another version of “Espresso.

The show received a prolonged applause from the audience, with Kacey Musgraves visibly impressed by Carpenter’s appearance. During the event, host Trevor Noah humorously remarked that Carpenter’s act wasn’t just visually appealing, but also included some witty humor.

2025 will see Carpenter making their debut performance at the Grammys, marking a first appearance on this prestigious music awards stage. Last year, the singer captivated crowds with an out-of-this-world medley of “Short N’ Sweet” during the MTV Video Music Awards.
