Sade’s’97’21 years have passed since her debut single release, but she’ll be featuring on a new compilation album by the music organization Red Hot. The LP, titled TRAИƧA, is described as a spiritual journey honoring transgender individuals, with contributions from over 100 artists, many of whom identify as trans, queer, or non-binary
2021 marked the start of the TRAИƧA project. The completed work spans over three hours and fifty-four minutes, featuring 46 distinct tracks organized into eight distinct chapters. Sade’s track “Young Lion” is found in the chapter named “Liberation,” which serves as a tribute to her transgender son, Izaak Theo Adu
The other tracks on this album include “Soul’s Womb,” “Endurance,” “Long Night,” “Mourning,” “Understanding,” and “Transforming.”
