Sadie Sink’s Stranger Things Haul

If you’re familiar with “Stranger Things“, you’d recognize that this popular sci-fi show is filled with enjoyable, nostalgic, and at times eerie ’80s relics. This could be Joyce’s wall of Christmas lights from the first season or the signature bikes the kids have cycled around Hawkins throughout the series. With the fifth and final season now in post-production before its 2025 TV debut, one can’t help but ponder what the cast might keep as souvenirs from their time on set. Interestingly, Sadie Sink seems to have done exactly that.

Production teams generally dislike actors and crew members taking items from sets, yet this practice hasn’t deterred performers in the past. This issue has been a topic of discussion among several stars of the hit series “Stranger Things” during the filming of season five, including Finn Wolfhard, who spoke about the keepsakes he hoped to take when production ended. The “It” star has remained silent on whether he managed to acquire anything. On the other hand, Sadie Sink, a fellow cast member, mentioned during her appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” that she took some “necessities” from the set.

I acquired quite a few things from the collection, but more specifically, I needed Max’s skateboard, which was actually given to me. Apart from that, I have some Walkmans, some Kate Bush cassettes, Vans, and assorted items. In fact, every shoe that Max wore is now in my possession. It’s starting to resemble a mini Stranger Things museum, so I need to be careful with how I arrange it all.

Stranger Things Season 5: What We Know About The Netflix Series So Far

This collection is quite impressive and seems tailor-made to reflect Max Mayfield’s personality. I can hardly wait to find out if she dons any of Max’s shoes during the Season 5 press tour, whenever it takes place. By the way, I must admit a pang of envy over her receiving the skateboard too!

Reflecting on the heartfelt confessions from our talented cast about their keepsakes from set, I can’t help but feel a pang as the realization sinks in: our cherished Netflix series will draw its final chapter in 2025. For ten years, we’ve been privileged to witness the dedication and artistry of this incredible team, and it’s no surprise that bidding farewell instead of “until next time” has been an emotional rollercoaster for them, as it has for millions of fans around the world.

Immediately after filming wrapped, Ross Duffer expressed his gratitude for the show that changed his life as did several members of the cast. Eleven actress Millie Bobby Brown also followed suit. Additionally, Sadie Sink shared an emotional Instagram post with her followers but opened up more to Jimmy Fallon, saying:

It’s been incredibly challenging for me (and probably for everyone else involved), as it has been a decade since we first started this series. We’ve grown up alongside it, and so have our viewers. Together, we shared this journey, making it more like growing up together.

In the second, less acclaimed season of “Stranger Things,” the character played by Sink, known as the “Whale Star,” made her first appearance and quickly gained popularity among fans. In Season 4, she served as the trigger for the group to uncover the identity of Vecna and his hidden location in the Upside Down. Although Sink joined the show later, she has since become an integral cast member and a valued part of the close-knit “ST” family. I wish that she cherishes the memories she’s made and keeps the valuable props she now owns.

It hasn’t been specified when exactly, but Netflix has confirmed that Stranger Things Season 5 will air in 2021. In the meantime, fans with an active Netflix account can revisit memorable scenes from the first four seasons of the show. Fans of Sadie Sink might also want to catch her on stage this spring as she stars in the Broadway play John Proctor is the Villain.
