During a recent chat, Ghatge disclosed the gradual growth of her romance with Zaheer Khan. She confided that at first, Zaheer was somewhat reluctant to initiate any interaction with her.
Based on Sagarika’s account, it was only when Angad Bedi stepped in that the walls between them started crumbling, culminating in their wedding in 2017.
In the early days, the actress from Chak De India remembered, Khan had already developed an impression of her before they had much opportunity for in-depth conversation. She clarified that initially, Zaheer was reluctant to converse, as others’ descriptions of her had left him apprehensive.
She guessed that perhaps it seemed like people believed they ought to approach her only if they were genuinely interested in a serious relationship.
Ghatge gratefully credited Bedi for his significant role in drawing them together, noting that he played a crucial part in helping their bond grow stronger. They first revealed their relationship at Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech’s wedding in 2016, and eventually got married the following year in 2017.
