Approximately 2:00 AM on January 16, 2025, Saif Ali Khan, covered in blood, was urgently taken to a well-known Mumbai hospital by his relatives and assistants. Due to the lack of a car at home, Khan hopped into an auto-rickshaw, making a beeline for Lilavati Hospital. The driver, Bhajan Singh Rana, revealed his identity to Instant Bollywood and shared that he’d graciously accept a new rickshaw from the Hum Tum actor should Saif decide to gift it to him.
Rana stated in Hindi, “I’m not demanding anything, but if Saif Ali Khan wants to give a gift and feels inclined to do so, I would gladly accept it. I never implied that I deserve rewards for my actions or that I am being materialistic.
On several hospital stays, the actor from the movie Race sought medical attention for numerous injuries sustained during a break-in at his residence in Bandra. The actor was discharged on January 21, 2025, and was spotted walking home with a bandaged hand and an apparent neck wound visible.
A report from IANS reveals that following his release from the hospital, Saif Ali Khan encountered and thanked the compassionate driver who got him there promptly in the morning. One of the widely-shared images captures Khan, seated on a hospital bed, with an arm around the auto rickshaw driver and a cheerful expression. As per ETimes, Saif additionally presented the driver with Rs 50,000 as a gesture of appreciation.
