Salman Khan and Prabhas are 'flop-proof' actors, says Adipurush director Om Raut: ‘They have big fan following...'

As a seasoned observer of the dynamic Indian film industry, I must say that the label “flop-proof” actors is not only fitting for Salman Khan and Prabhas but also a testament to their unparalleled charisma and enduring popularity. Having watched their careers unfold over the years, it’s clear that their fan following transcends box office numbers, making them truly ‘beyond’.

Actors Salman Khan and Prabhas are two highly respected figures in Indian cinema, having produced some of the most enduring classics in film history. They’re admired for their screen charisma, appeal, and enigmatic aura. Lately, director Om Raut, who previously worked with Prabhas on Adipurush, expressed an opinion about Khan and the Southern actor. He stated that they are actors who can’t fail at the box office, meaning that their popularity remains unaffected by films that underperform financially.

One of the director’s clips from his recent interviews is spreading rapidly online, in which he labels Prabhas and Salman Khan as stars who can’t fail. Raut stated, “Actors such as Prabhas and Salman Khan have an unwavering stardom; they possess a substantial fan base, a specific reputation, and an image that remains undeterred by occasional flops. They transcend these minor setbacks.”

As a devoted follower, I’m excited to share that on the professional side, you’ll find me in the upcoming film titled “Sikandar,” directed by AR Murugadoss and Sajid Nadiadwala. This much-awaited production also features Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar. Get ready to witness this epic on the big screen during Eid 2025!

According to recent reports by TopMob, Salman Khan started a 45-day filming marathon for Sikandar in Mumbai on August 26, 2024. Insiders connected to the project have shared that Sajid Nadiadwala and the production crew built an expansive set within a Mumbai studio.

This set replicates various parts of Mumbai, a process that took more than three months and involved considerable investment to achieve realism. The set plays a vital role in the production of Sikandar, as it will be utilized for both action-packed and emotional, dramatic scenes.

Following the wrap-up of their Mumbai shoot, the Sikandar crew intends to capture another scene at an Indian royal palace, lasting approximately 15 to 20 days. A source has reported that they are in the process of selecting a palace that will enhance the film’s elegance and overall quality. The third phase of production is anticipated to start around November.

Previously, TopMob’s reports suggested that Salman, in his leading role, depicts a character embodying aspects of pride and haughtiness. It was indicated that Khan’s on-screen persona, Sikandar, accurately mirrors the temperament of someone from a noble background, exhibiting anger and arrogance.

Previously, it was observed that Salman took on a “ruffian” character in a secondary plot for the film Sultan. Furthermore, anticipate that by Eid 2025, fans will have the pleasure of watching him in a part that promises to be particularly engaging.
