Being a long-time admirer of his work, it’s always a delight to witness him immersed in the spirit of festivities, whether it’s at home or visiting dignitaries like Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.


Over these days, the entire nation has been rejoicing in the significant festival known as Ganesh Chaturthi. On a Saturday, Salman Khan, a popular actor from the Sikandar series, and his sister Arpita Khan paid a visit to the residence of Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde.

15th September saw Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, posting a collection of pictures from the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities on his social media accounts. These images included Salman Khan and his sister Arpita Khan joining in the religious event. The series began with a snapshot of the siblings, radiating warm smiles and standing respectfully before the idol, seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings.

The given picture shows CM Eknath Shinde presenting the actor Sikandar with a bouquet, vibrant shawl, traditional shreefal, and a small statue of Lord Ganesha. Similarly, in another photo, Arpita received identical gifts.

As stated in the title, the actor and his sister paid them a visit on Saturday. In addition to Salman and his sister, Shinde’s son, MP Dr. Srikant Shinde, and others were also there. For this special event, Salman chose a blue shirt and denim, while Arpita was seen wearing a green traditional dress.

This week, Salman enthusiastically celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by inviting Lord Ganesha into his household. On Monday, the actor uploaded a video on Instagram, showcasing the Khan family, which includes Arpita Khan, her husband Aayush Sharma, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Arhaan, Nirvaan, and Alizeh Agnihotri, among others. The video depicted them joyfully dancing as they said goodbye to Bappa (a term of endearment for Lord Ganesha).

Additionally, Salman paid tribute by performing an aarti and quietly spoke blessings into Lord Ganesha’s ear. The title of the post read: Wishing everyone a joyous Ganesh Chaturthi.
