The bond between Salman Khan and Chunky Panday goes way back to the 1990s. In a past conversation with Lehren, Salman himself shared an anecdote about their time together in South Africa during filming. He admitted that he had borrowed $50,000 from a shopkeeper there to escort Chunky (Sikandar) to his store.

Reflecting on old times, Chunky remembered he asked Salman to go shopping together, and mentioned there’d be no cost for the jeans. Once they visited the mall, Khan received free jeans and shoes, but it wasn’t until later that the superstar discovered Panday had actually paid for his own appearance at the store.

During the very same interview, Chunky clarified the background details, stating that the shopkeeper indeed paid him $50,000, but it was for his role as a show sponsor. In essence, the shopkeeper served as the sponsor, and the agreement was to bring Salman to the store.

In terms of professional endeavors, Chunky is delighting in the unveiling of his latest Netflix movie, titled Vijay 69, which has recently been made available. Additionally, he’s looking forward to Housefull 5, where he will work alongside Akshay Kumar. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is engrossed in the production of Sikandar, a highly anticipated film directed by AR Murugadoss, featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi among its notable cast members.
