- Samsung is set to bring their popular trivia game The Six to mobile for the first time
- If you’re in Canada or North America, you can start playing via the Samsung News App
- The Six lets you compete with questions ranging from current events to world history
As a trivia enthusiast who has spent countless hours pondering over Jeopardy! reruns and quizzing friends at family gatherings, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement for Samsung’s decision to bring The Six to mobile. Having missed out on the initial TV release, I eagerly await the opportunity to test my knowledge against others on this new platform.
Starting today, the popular trivia game “The Six,” which was only available on TV until now, is making its debut on mobile devices, specifically for Samsung Galaxy users. Initially, it will be accessible through the Samsung News App in North America and Canada.
There’s no need for me to elaborate on the charm of trivia; whether it’s impressing your friends or sharpening your intellect. And it appears that Samsung’s The Six, which made its debut earlier this year on their TV products, has become incredibly popular among players.
In “The Six,” you tackle six questions spanning diverse areas such as entertainment, current events, and world history. The quicker you respond, the better your score. Given its growing popularity among some individuals, it’s no wonder Samsung is looking to extend this engaging game to their mobile devices.
Riddle me this
It’s quite likely that many individuals will look forward to trying out The Six on their mobile devices, and I must admit that in my younger days, I was a bit puzzled by the widespread appeal of trivia games. However, with time, I’ve grown to appreciate them. There’s indeed a unique aspect to these games—you can entertain yourself while simultaneously learning something new.
Currently, since I reside in the UK, there doesn’t appear to be any recent news on when those outside of North America and Canada can access ‘The Six’. But considering its growing popularity, I would guess it won’t be long before it becomes available.
