The South Korean brand SAN SAN GEAR recently unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 collection catalog titled “CHECK POINT.” This catalog depicts a role-playing game (RPG)-inspired journey in an otherworldly and ordinary environment. Nana Komatsu, the model and actress, is featured in this new clothing line along with her fellow Japanese model, Hibiki Tomiyama.
Clothing options span diverse categories including jackets, shirts, T-shirts, trousers, and shorts. They all feature a casual fit and understated style. Upon closer inspection, these items showcase playful design elements like unconventional shapes, emphasized seams, off-balance outlines, and artistic graphics. The dominant color scheme is primarily grayscale, but it’s enlivened with pops of lighter blues and bold cobalt tones.
In the lookbook, an assortment of unique clothing pieces are displayed in unusual arrangements. One photo depicts Komatsu wielding a knife resembling a saw as she cuts through bread and a bowl at the same time. Elsewhere, Tomiyama is seen standing on a tilted bed while asleep.
On March 17, you’ll find the SS25 collection up for grabs on SAN SAN GEAR’s official online store. From March 15 to 16, you can get a sneak peek at the new line through a pop-up preview at their flagship store in Hapjeong.
