Saweetie Delivers Confident Anthem “My Best”

As a dedicated follower of Saweetie‘s career, I must say that her latest track “My Best” has me absolutely buzzing! It’s been a rollercoaster ride watching this phenomenal artist rise to stardom, and she’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Following the release of her catchy summer tune “NANi” in May, Saweetie is back to complete the sun-kissed season with a fresh and self-assured track called “My Best.”

‘Ride fast, sip slow/ Forty-inch weave, that wind blow/ My body got me on my tiptoes/ You dusty h*** need a lint role/ I be minding my business/ But still be the topic of your conversation,” she raps in the first verse, which leads up to the chorus’ titular line: “You don’t deserve my best.”

The bold track comes accompanied by a music video, co-directed by WaterWippinEvan and Saweetie, which chronicles the journey and transformation of the hit-maker. Filmed at her former high school in Elk Grove, California, the video evokes a wave of nostalgia as it contrasts Saweetie’s current persona with images of her from childhood.

In the latest development for Saweetie, her new single release is just one more accomplishment on her list. Earlier this year, she graced us with another hit song called “Richtivities,” and made guest appearances in STARZ’s BMF series. Moreover, she served as a mentor for NBC’s singing competition show, The Voice. To add to that, Saweetie surprised fans by joining Diljit Dosanjh on stage at the sold-out Crypto Arena, performing their track “Khutti” together.
