Director Gareth Evans, known for his expertise in creature features such as his debut film “Monsters” and the 2014 reboot of “Godzilla“, along with movies about a daring team on an unattainable mission due to “Rogue One“, has expressed that directing the next chapter in the Jurassic series is a long-cherished dream realized for him.

I was planning on taking a short break, but instead, an exciting concept for my next film popped up in my mind. This idea is so captivating that it makes me forget everything and jump right in – much like a stone dropping into water. You see, I’m a huge fan of Jurassic Park, and I believe the first movie is a true masterpiece. Now, having this opportunity feels like a dream come true! Plus, working with Frank Marshall, Universal, and David Koepp, who’s penning the script, feels surreal. These individuals are all legends in their field, so I can’t contain my excitement!

In this production, Mahershala Ali portrays Duncan Kincaid, a trusted lieutenant of Zora’s, with Jonathan Bailey, an Emmy and Olivier Award nominee known for roles in “Wicked” and “Bridgerton,” taking on the role of Dr. Henry Loomis, a paleontologist.
