In the initial stages, it’s advisable to steer clear of using rags for Tinder, as they are essential for healing and making clothing. Instead, opt for fibers from bushes for your fire-starting needs.

How Do You Collect Resources for Fire?

Use a stone knife made from small rocks you find to chop bushes.

Gather resources that include twigs and vegetation. Make sure you have a sufficient amount for not just constructing the firepit, but also crafting a fire-ignition device. In case of limited space, keep sticks in your belt pouches and tinder in your pockets.

You might find it helpful to gather sticks and tie them into bundles, making transportation and crafting tasks simpler. After you’ve collected enough supplies, return to the fireplace structure and engage with it.

In simpler terms, as you play, the game analyzes what resources your character possesses and then sets about building a structure. However, many players often face challenges when it comes to lighting the completed structure.

How Do You Actually Light the Fire?

There are various methods to ignite a fire, however, if you don’t possess matches, a lighter, or flint and steel, your best bet might be to create a Fire Drill.

This rudimentary device is fashioned from two wooden staves. It requires more time to function compared to contemporary techniques, but it’s your most effective option at the outset. After you’ve constructed it, employ the Fire Stick, move towards your prepared hearth, and set it in motion.

The action wheel displays a “Light Fire” selection. Choose this and initiate the procedure to create a fire. Assuming your tinder is dry and the elements are cooperating, the fire will ignite in just a few tries.

When it’s operational, you can prepare meals, clean water, dry damp clothing, or even prevent hypothermia on frigid nights – a necessity in harsh conditions.
