Senator suggests how D.O.G.E. can save $2 Trillion of American Tax Payers

As a seasoned crypto investor with a keen eye for potential opportunities and a knack for spotting government inefficiencies, I find Senator Joni Ernst’s proposal for the Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E.) under the leadership of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to be an exciting development. With my years of experience in navigating the financial markets and a penchant for rooting out wasteful spending, I can’t help but see the immense potential for savings and efficiency improvements that this initiative could bring.

Before the highly anticipated inauguration of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and the unveiling of the Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E.), Senator Joni Ernst provided a unique look into the responsibilities of D.O.G.E. and its potential to save $2 Trillion USD for American taxpayers. Trump plans to establish D.O.G.E., which will be led by tech entrepreneur Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, a well-known businessman.

Senator Ernst opted for a platform to propose ideas on how Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, heads of D.O.G.E., could potentially save over $2 trillion in taxpayer money from unnecessary expenditure in Washington D.C. in the forthcoming period. Ernst is famously recognized for her “Screw Awards,” which highlight excessive spending by government officials.

In a tweet, Senator Ernst outlined 22 areas related to governance where the implementation of D.O.G.E could potentially reduce spending by $1 trillion through effective management and execution. Notable suggestions from Senator Ernst included eliminating “phantom employees,” as it was found that the U.S. government spent approximately $15.7 billion on underutilized buildings in this category. Additionally, Ernst highlighted that around 150,000 federal workers owe a total of $1.5 billion in unpaid taxes to the U.S. government.

Let’s thoroughly review the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), as it appears that a significant number of its agents have substantial unpaid tax debts totaling millions of dollars. Across all federal agencies, approximately 150,000 employees owe the government a collective $1.5 billion in back taxes. Ultimately, our goal should be to reduce these figures to zero.

Ernst has expressed her disapproval towards those referred to as associated workers, whom she thinks are undermining remote work initiatives. Moreover, she pointed out that U.S. President Biden allocated $7.5 billion for the construction of 17 electric vehicle charging stations and $42 billion to expand rural broadband infrastructure, yet none have been connected to the internet. Ernst also argued that the three trains being built in California are estimated to cost taxpayers $144 billion, a project she believes should be halted.

She has also mentioned in her tweet that Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and she will be hard at work putting waste on the cutting block and carving up Washington’s distended budget.
