This year’s Seriesmakers, a platform for pitches and mentorship, is hosting an array of intriguing projects at its event held during Series Mania Forum, a global television gathering taking place from March 25th to the 27th in Lille. These include an Irish crime series, a Brazilian thriller centered around a heist, and a Nigerian fantasy tale about a man who gains the powers of Jesus Christ upon his resurrection.

10 international teams, consisting of both directors and writers, have been selected to present their television series concepts at this event. The top-ranked project will receive the Beta & Kirch Foundation Award, which comes with a €50,000 ($55,000) grant.
