The renowned Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has experienced significant triumphs in the Hindi film industry, winning over audiences with his diverse acting abilities. In a chat with the Locarno Film Festival for their YouTube channel, Shah Rukh Khan opened up about his innate sense of humor. He admitted that he has the knack for making people chuckle, but it often occurs at inopportune times. Additionally, he revealed that his team frequently cautions him to tone down his humor since it might not be comprehended by everyone.
Given the present environment where people can take offense easily and it’s challenging to know what could provoke them, the actor has expressed apprehension about appearing politically incorrect. To avoid such misinterpretations, he prefers to exercise caution. He noted that in today’s highly sensitive world, it’s often prudent to abstain from humor to prevent potential misunderstandings.
The Pathaan actor commented that nowadays, people are easily offended. A simple remark can upset someone. He suggested it might be wiser to avoid using humor in such sensitive situations.
Shah Rukh Khan admits that comedy is a tough nut to crack for him, going as far as saying he hasn’t been able to fully grasp it.
