As a dedicated follower of the glamorous world of Bollywood, I have always admired Shah Rukh Khan for his unparalleled stardom and inspiring journey. His recent encounter with Badshah, who was going through a creative rough patch, highlights SRK’s wisdom and ability to empathize with fellow artists.

Shah Rukh Khan, who has been a fixture in the entertainment industry for numerous decades, consistently motivates millions of fans across the globe. Often referred to as an institution unto himself, SRK leaves spectators awestruck by his stardom. His influence extends beyond fans, even reaching other celebrities, who draw inspiration from his success and learn how to navigate difficult times in life. Rapper Badshah is one such individual inspired by SRK. A piece of advice Shah Rukh gave Badshah about learning to cook pasta for four years during a ‘creative slump’ serves as an inspiring testament to perseverance in the face of failure.

During a chat with Fever FM, Badshah reminisced about encountering Shah Rukh Khan on a flight. At that time, Badshah admitted to feeling lost creatively as he was experiencing a tough creative phase. He went on to mention his initial meeting with Shah Rukh’s manager, Pooja Dadlani, and later the famous actor himself.

Badshah recollected discussing with Shah Rukh Khan about how his songs weren’t meeting the mark. In reference to his four-year absence from work, the actor in Pathaan admitted an instance where he chose to learn cooking and dedicated time to master the art of preparing pasta throughout his break.

According to SRK’s wisdom, the rapper shared, “Just as SRK advised, if your heart isn’t into it, don’t try composing songs. I spent four years learning how to make pasta instead of music – that’s all I mastered.

Badshah called it a liberating feeling to receive “validation from such a personality”.

Previously, in an interview with Variety, Shah Rukh Khan opened up about his decision to step away from films after Zero in 2018. In this conversation, SRK shared that it wasn’t the poor performance of his movies, but rather he desired a break from acting for a year.

Regarding his professional life, Shah Rukh Khan recently appeared in the movie “Dunki” by Rajkumar Hirani in the year 2023. At present, he is preparing for Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming film, titled “King.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement! I had the privilege of working alongside the legendary SRK on Badshah’s album, Ek Tha Raja. Guess who provided the voiceover for its announcement video? You got it – the superstar himself! This rapper-singer is a household name, known for chart-topping hits like Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai, Tareefan, Mercy, DJ Wale Babu, and many more.
