Shah Rukh Khan‘s well-known residence, Mannat, is among Mumbai’s most renowned landmarks. However, recent news indicates that the Khan family might be vacating it temporarily due to renovations. In this context, Gauri opened up about which section of Mannat holds a special place in her heart and why.
Recently, in an interview with NDTV, as a devoted follower, I found myself listening to Gauri Khan, an accomplished interior designer, discussing her personal sanctuary at Mannat. When asked about her favorite spot, she warmly disclosed that it was none other than the poolside. She expressed, “My very own poolside – it’s a place where, when life’s pressures weigh heavy on me, I can find tranquility and unwind.
In the course of the interview, Gauri was queried about finding it harder between designing and film production. She admitted that creating films proved to be the greater challenge for her.
Previously, it was disclosed in the Hindustan Times that Shah Rukh Khan and his loved ones are preparing to vacate their home, Mannat. The renovation and expansion project for this residence is slated to commence in May 2025 and is projected to last approximately two years. Furthermore, the report hinted that SRK and his family may be relocating to the Pali Hill district of Mumbai, where they have leased four floors from producer Vashu Bhagnani’s family in a luxury apartment.
2024 saw Times Now revealing Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s intentions to extend their residence, Mannat, by constructing two additional floors. The report indicated that Gauri submitted an application to the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) in order to obtain approval for these additions.
Currently, Gauri Khan is overseeing her son Aryan Khan’s first directorial project, a series, under their production house Red Chillies Entertainment. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan revealed the title of this upcoming series at the Next on Netflix event, which he described as “the biggest, boldest, bravest, wildest, funniest, most cheeky, insane, and cinematic show on earth.
