It’s been discovered that King Khan and his wife Gauri are planning an expansive renovation of their renowned home, Mannat. The project includes constructing two new floors, which could potentially cost up to Rs 25 crore, as suggested in a recent report from Times Now. The application for this extensive makeover was submitted to the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) back in November of 2024, according to the report.
The proposal was reportedly reviewed during a meeting held by the MCZMA on December 10 and 11.
The 1914-built property known as Mannat, encompasses approximately 2091.38 square meters at present. It showcases a contemporary six-story building. If the proposals are accepted, this historic residence will be expanded with an additional two floors, adding to its majestic allure.
In terms of professional endeavors, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing to commence shooting for the action-filled suspense movie titled King, helmed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Siddharth Anand and Gauri Khan. This will be his first on-screen collaboration with his daughter Suhana Khan, making it a memorable event in his acting journey. The film additionally includes Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma in key roles.
