SharpLink Taps BlackRock Veteran as Co-CEO

But wait, there’s more! SharpLink didn’t stop at just throwing money around; they’ve gone and hired themselves a new Co-CEO. Joseph Chalom, the former digital assets strategist of BlackRock, is now at the helm. With his deep expertise in crypto, he’s set to steer the company’s $1.3 billion Ethereum treasury strategy. Why, it’s like putting a fox in charge of a henhouse full of gold! 🦊💰

Chalom, he ain’t no stranger to the crypto world. He played a key role in launching the iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), which is now the world’s largest ETH exchange-traded product with over $10 billion in assets. At BlackRock, he led major digital asset partnerships with firms like Coinbase, Nasdaq, and Circle, and held top roles including interim Deputy COO and COO of BlackRock Solutions. Now, SharpLink boasts a hefty 360,807 ETH worth $1.33B in its holdings, with 95% of it staked or deployed via liquid staking. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. 🤑
