As a seasoned Star Wars Outlaws player with countless hours under my belt, I can wholeheartedly vouch for this gambler you come across in Mirogana. At first glance, he may seem like just another down-on-his-luck NPC, but don’t let his humble appearance fool you!
In the shady corners of Star Wars Outlaws, gambling plays a significant role, and characters like Kay find themselves entangled due to some individuals she encounters during her journey.
While traversing Mirogana, a gambling enthusiast in distress on Toshara’s moon will soon cross your path. Despite being hard up, he seeks credits from Kay to persist in his quest for fortune. The question arises: should you aid him in this endeavor?
What happens when you give the gambler Credits?
There are three options you can select when speaking with the gambler at Mirogana:
- Give 100 Credits
- Give 500 Credits
- Leave
In essence, you’re given three options: invest a little, invest a lot, or simply leave. Since encountering this gambler at the start of the game, it’s reasonable to feel cautious – I myself didn’t have close to 500 Credits when we first met.
However, if you do have the cash to spare, it’s definitely worth giving the gambler 500 Credits. He’ll disappear for a while, but will later appear with a 50% return on your original investment.
Should you provide the gambler with 100 Credits, he’ll return 150 Credits to you. If you offer him 500 Credits, he’ll compensate you with 750 Credits in return.
In other words, it’ll take some time for the character to reappear at his initial location. I encountered him after completing about three to four tasks, suggesting that by spending your funds now, you could potentially receive a substantial return later on.
Where to find the Gambler
If you haven’t met the gambler before, or wish to locate him once more, please navigate to the indicated location marked on your map.
He resides in Mirogana, which is slightly northwest of the Fathier betting station. Initially, I encountered him appearing rather dejected. Upon giving him some Credits, I later noticed him comfortably seated on a chair, with his hands behind his head and sporting a content expression.
If you’re having trouble finding the gambler, don’t worry – he didn’t elope with your funds and set them ablaze. Instead, you’ll need to step away and accomplish a few tasks before returning to track his whereabouts. There are numerous missions and activities within Mirogana that you can engage in while waiting – just stay alert for any leads on his whereabouts.
