After the premiere of Amar Kaushik’s film Stree 2, an engaging online dispute over who deserves the credit arose between the main actors. More recently, the cast of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s movie has convened to put an end to the ongoing debate about attribution.
As an over-the-moon fan, I couldn’t help but be thrilled when Star Gold’s official Instagram page shared a tantalizing video! This video brought together the star-studded cast of Stree 2, featuring none other than Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Shraddha Kapoor, and Aparshakti Khurana. They gathered for a stimulating ’roundtable’ discussion, leaving me on the edge of my seat in anticipation!
The movie opens with director Amar Kaushik acknowledging the audience, saying, “I believe our film Stree 2 has received so much love from you all… It feels like this is our film.” Abhishek Banerjee, portraying Jana in Stree 2, chimes in, “But remember, it’s my movie.
In reaction to this remark, Shraddha Kapoor playfully chuckles and demands recognition for the movie by saying, “This is my movie.” Rajkummar Rao then counters, “There’s no need to state it, the audience already knows that Stree 2 is my film.

During the roundtable discussion, Aparshakti Khurana remarked, “If we delve into this topic, it could lead to an extended discussion,” and others in the conversation discouraged him from continuing.
As director Amar Kaushik maintains a relaxed expression during breaks, the whole crew tries to console him. Later, Banerjee emphasizes that the movie is all thanks to their leader. Following a discussion about credits, the group eventually reaches a mutual agreement.
To wrap things up, they put an end to the disagreement by acknowledging, “This isn’t our movie, it’s yours.” They then invited everyone to catch the film on Star Gold this coming Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 8:00 p.m.
