According to Bollywood Hungama’s reports, Stree 2 has been given a U/A Certificate (Unrestricted but advise parental guidance for children under 12) by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). However, there were two adjustments requested by the Examine Committee due to concerns about mentions of celebrities and a national monument. The CBFC has asked the filmmakers to alter the references to these celebrities and mute the name of the monument in question.
The creators appear content since they didn’t have to make significant visual edits or adjustments. Consequently, no scenes depicting action, intimacy, or horror were censored. After these alterations, the movie received a U/A rating. Running time for Stree 2 is 149 minutes and 29 seconds, which equals approximately 2 hours, 29 minutes, and 29 seconds.
Advance ticket sales for the upcoming horror-comedy directed by Amar Kaushik, titled “Stree 2,” have started today, with general pre-sales set to begin tomorrow. Produced by Maddock Films, this movie will hold its first screenings on August 14, 2024, a day prior to its official release date of August 15, 2024. Starring Shraddha and Rajkummar, “Stree 2” is expected to compete with Akshay Kumar’s “Khel Khel Mein” and John Abraham’s “Vedaa” at the box office on its release day.
At the TopMob Masterclass, actors Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor discussed the idea of combining their films Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya into a single blockbuster movie. Rajkummar Rao suggested this as a grand scheme, likening it to the Marvel universe, where he would play a villain like Thanos, while his character from Stree would be analogous to Iron Man, and Shraddha Kapoor would take on the role of Black Widow.
Movie 2, released in 2021, is the follow-up to the blockbuster horror-comedy film Stree from 2018. This movie is known for kick-starting Dinesh Vijan’s successful Horror Comedy Universe, which includes Bhediya and the recent success Munjya. For those who may not be aware, this cinematic universe also encompasses these titles.
