Shraddha Kapoor’s character in Stree 2 to get standalone movie in horror comedy universe? Writer Niren Bhatt says, "Thinking of expanding...’

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for emerging trends in the Bollywood scene, I must say that the potential expansion of Shraddha Kapoor’s character from Stree 2 into a standalone movie is an exciting development. With my years of experience in following the industry, I can tell you that this move could prove to be a game-changer for both Shraddha and the Maddock Films universe.

Is it true that Shraddha Kapoor’s character from Stree 2 could be getting a solo film within the supernatural universe crafted by Maddock Films? The recent installment of the horror-comedy series, featuring both Shraddha and Rajkummar Rao, has been keeping audiences entertained in cinemas. Though some aspects about Shraddha’s character have been clarified, more questions remain unanswered. Writer Niren Bhatt has confirmed that they intend to delve deeper into the background of her character in upcoming films. He mentioned that they aim to develop the stories of their characters further.

During a recent Zoom interview, Niren Bhatt, writer for Stree 2, shared that they aim to delve into the tale of Shraddha Kapoor’s character in future installments. He explained, “Indeed, we intend to uncover the story of Shraddha Kapoor as the daughter of Stree, which is why her name was not disclosed earlier.”

Niren mentioned that numerous strategies were being devised for the Maddock supernatural universe, however, he couldn’t disclose them. The author conveyed that each character from their movies such as Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya held significant value to them. He further stated, “We are contemplating ways to extend their narratives. I’m unsure of the specifics like when, where, and in which films they will appear, but rest assured, they will make an appearance.”

In Street 2, Shraddha Kapoor’s character is unveiled as Stree’s daughter. Though she shares her name with Rajkummar Rao’s Vicky, it remains a secret to the audience. At the film’s conclusion, she vanishes once more, leaving viewers intrigued and eagerly anticipating the full story of this character.

Beyond that, this movie featured brief appearances by Varun Dhawan as Bhediya and Akshay Kumar as a relative of Sarkata – the antagonist. I can hardly wait to see how my beloved protagonist, Shraddha, interacts with them in future sequels!

In a small town named Chanderi, there’s a formidable, headless creature terrorizing the female residents. Once again, it falls upon Vicky and his friends to protect their home. The comedy trio of Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi provided the film with numerous laugh-out-loud moments. “Stree 2” is directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor attended the AJIO presents TopMob Masterclass before their upcoming film’s release. In an exclusive chat, Rajkummar hinted at a future project where characters from Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya might appear together. When asked about it, he suggested, “To be honest, it’s still too soon to confirm. However, that’s the idea behind creating this universe, so we could eventually have one massive film featuring a villain similar to Thanos, a character like Vicky (likely referring to himself) as Iron Man, and perhaps Shraddha’s character could be Black Widow.”

He mentioned, “Indeed, that’s our strategy. First and foremost, a major movie. However, prior to that, we are gradually expanding the universe, step by step, until it reaches its pinnacle; and then we will produce that big film. Yes, it will come to fruition.”

Excitedly, I can’t help but share the fantastic news straight from the horse’s mouth – the brilliant producer Dinesh Vijan himself! During the grand unveiling of Stree 2’s trailer, he revealed that Stree 3 is indeed on its way! Here’s the best part: the script for this third installment has already been penned down, making it possible for a speedier release compared to its predecessor.
