As a seasoned television enthusiast with decades of binge-watching under my belt, I must say that Bill Lawrence has truly cemented his place as the reigning king of TV comedy. His latest creation, “Shrinking,” is no exception, and I eagerly await its third season on AppleTV+.

Lawrence’s candid interview with the Los Angeles Times left me intrigued about the potential future of this hilarious series. If we were to start the fourth season with Jason Segel saying, “I’m still so sad about my wife dying, and I really messed up with my daughter,” people might express a look of deep distress.

Well, you know what? Including Jimmy’s daughter Alice (played by Lukita Maxwell) and her college journey could potentially add some intriguing plot twists to the upcoming season. However, it might seem like a different show altogether if it were to solely center on her. To be fair, Mindy Kaling has already created “The Sex Life of College Girls,” which is quite good as it stands.

Fortunately, it appears that the third season of the series may provide us with hints about its future direction – a direction that AppleTV+ seems likely to embrace, provided that Lawrence’s magic continues to be part of the mix.
