On January 19, 2025, I came across an Instagram story post from Sidharth Malhotra. It appeared that Prime Video India had shared this post on their official Instagram account. The image showcased filmmaker Rohit Shetty, along with my co-stars Shilpa Shetty and Nikitin Dheer.
Overjoyed that his TV show, “Indian Police Force,” reached its first anniversary, he expressed, “DCP Kabir Malik will forever remain dear to me! Cheers to IPL and its outstanding team! #OneYearOfIndianPoliceForce.
Sidharth Malhotra’s post for the Indian Police Force:
In the year 2024, Sidharth acted in the action thriller movie “Yodha,” directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, alongside Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. Currently, he’s preparing to act with Janhvi Kapoor in a romantic-comedy film titled “Param Sundari.” Recently, it was reported exclusively by TopMob that the two popular stars traveled to Kerala for a one-month shoot of their upcoming film in January 2025.
Previously, the team provided a preview of their characters with the announcement, “Northern swagger meets Southern elegance—two realms merge and create sparks. Dinesh Vijan presents Param Sundari, a romantic tale helmed by Tushar Jalota, set to hit theaters on 25th July 2025. Introducing the debonair Sidharth Malhotra as Param and the lively Janhvi Kapoor as Sundari.
Check out Param Sundari’s motion poster:
In other words, Param Sundari is a film helmed by Tushar Jalota, who previously directed Dasvi. This production, under Maddock Films, shares similarities with the films Mani Ratnam used to create, such as Saathiya. Dinesh Vijan describes it as having a distinctive musical style and features Janhvi in a South Indian role, while Sid portrays a character from Northern Delhi. The narrative presents an intriguing contrast, and there’s a hint of advanced technology involved, though they’re delving into something akin to the world depicted in Kantara.
