For several months now, Salman Khan has been subjected to death threats and extortion attempts by various individuals. These include demands for a large sum of money from Khan, the renowned Bollywood star. After receiving ominous messages from Lawrence Bishnoi’s notorious gang, Khan’s security measures were reinforced. In an interview, director AR Murugadoss disclosed that working on the movie with Salman Khan became challenging due to these threats.
During an interview with The Times of India, director AR Murugadoss mentioned that their work schedule was extremely intense and grew even busier due to a threat. Following the death threats against Khan, security measures were increased significantly, causing thorough checks of all additional artists on set to take around 2-3 hours each day.
According to Sikandar’s director, managing people’s arrivals on set and their checks consumed a significant portion of their day, causing them to start shooting late and finish in the early hours of the morning. As a result, our body rhythms were disrupted. However, once we adjusted, it became routine, and the set had a very positive atmosphere, said AR Murugadoss.
In simpler terms, the director behind Ghajini stated that the upcoming action-thriller will be grand in scope, featuring sequences involving thousands of people – anywhere from 10,000 to 20,000 extras. This necessitates tight security and careful coordination due to the sheer size of the cast.
The Akira director explained that he selected Tiger 3’s lead actor because the script demanded an iconic, adored megastar who could embody the role flawlessly. Furthermore, Salman’s personality and screen presence added depth and significance to both the character and the storyline.
In the upcoming movie “Sikandar,” set for release on March 30, 2025, Khan will take the lead role alongside talented actors such as Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, and Kishore.
