One eagerly awaited film of the year, “Sikandar,” which is a collaboration between Salman Khan and AR Murugadoss, is set to hit screens soon. You may recall that we shared news about an intricately constructed set standing in for Dharavi and Matunga, all part of Sajid Nadiadwala’s production. Currently, the actor is filming action scenes with minimal intensity, while stand-ins handle other shots, as he recovers from a rib injury.
Based on an article in Mid-day, Salman Khan’s team will film in two important spots – the SRPF Ground in Goregaon, and a hospital in Marol for the upcoming days. The shoot is currently active, with a large portion of the action sequences anticipated to be finished by Salman Khan and director AR Murugadoss within the next two weeks. Notably, some complex action scenes will be filmed at the Dharavi set.
Based on information from sources, it seems that the director has found a solution for the rib injury sustained by the superstar a week ago. The team is currently filming scenes featuring Salman Khan from 4 pm to 10 pm, primarily focusing on light action sequences. Stand-ins are being used for other shots, including some stunts, while more demanding fight scenes involving Salman will be filmed at a later time. This information was shared with the publication by an informed source.
As we told you, after completing the schedule, the crew will relocate to a palace in Hyderabad for the next phase of production. TopMob earlier also informed you that Salman’s character includes elements of arrogance. His character embodies the true essence of a ‘Sikandar,’ coming from a royal lineage and displaying traits of anger and arrogance. It was noted that Salman last explored a ‘bad boy’ persona in a subplot of Sultan, and fans loved it.

Salman Rushdie will be teaming up with Sajid Nadiadwala once again following their previous project, Kick, released back in 2014. This upcoming film stars Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, and Sathyaraj in significant roles and is slated for a theater release next year on the occasion of Eid 2025.
