As a long-time follower and admirer of Salman Khan’s cinematic journey, I am genuinely thrilled about his upcoming movie, Sikandar. The prospect of seeing him play dual characters, one a philanthropist and the other a ‘Dabang’ from his past, is intriguing, to say the least.
Salman Khan and director AR Murugadoss have teamed up to create a larger-than-life action thriller. Filming for this project started back in June of this year, with the first schedule wrapping up on July 1st. Recent news about Salman’s upcoming movie hints at him portraying two roles within the film. Additionally, it was announced that over 10,000 pistols and bullets will be used for another action sequence from August 22nd onwards.
According to Daily Bhaskar, Salman Khan will portray a businessman in his upcoming film titled Sikandar. His character is depicted as both a generous and compassionate individual, yet there’s a past where he was quite bold or fearless – referred to as ‘Dabang’. Consequently, his role presents a dual facet, with one of the characters embodying this strong-willed persona.
Furthermore, the reports indicate that the team is preparing to film another thrilling action sequence on August 22. To ensure it’s action-packed, they’ve requested approximately 10,000 bullets and pistols for this scene. According to Mid-Day’s report, this will be a 40-day filming period.
According to recent reports, it appears that the filmmaker intends to create an action-packed movie for the audience’s enjoyment, yet they will also portray the lead character as a compassionate individual. In the initial shoot, Salman Khan, who plays the protagonist in Tiger 3, engaged in a fight sequence with the villain’s son on a rented private aircraft. The antagonist in this film is played by the well-known actor from Bahubali, Sathyaraj.
Due to Salman Khan’s desire to fully commit to his upcoming movie “Sikandar,” which is set to premiere during EID 2025, he has recently stepped away from numerous other projects over the past two months. This decision might be why he’s not hosting the OTT version of Bigg Boss 3.
The same report additionally noted that the actor from Race 3 attempted to rekindle the biographical film about Rajkumar Gupta, where he was intended to portray Ravindra Kaushik – a figure often referred to as India’s top spy. Regrettably, these plans didn’t materialize.
