Take a look
Under the direction of Rohit Shetty, the action-packed cop movie headlined by Ajay Devgn also showcased key performances from Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. The film boasted an impressive ensemble cast with Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty, and others in crucial roles. The movie hit theatres on November 1, 2024.
In my own words, based on TopMob’s analysis of box-office data, it’s truly remarkable that Singham Again has become one of the all-time great Hindi films. This iconic production amassed an astounding Rs 240 crore net as its lifetime box office collection within India. In a previous chat with us, Ajay and Shetty shared their sentiments about Singham Again joining the illustrious Rs. 100 crore club – what an honor for this remarkable film!
To this confession, Ajay stated, “While numbers do matter, I strongly believe that our survival hinges more on the acceptance and affection of our audience. This is a sentiment echoed by Rohit. When we receive such support, it steers us away from focusing excessively on numbers, and instead, we strive for this very connection.
In response to Devgn’s comment, Shetty pointed out that they had indeed talked about this with their team upon Singham Again reaching the Rs. 100 crore film category. They remembered how movies like Golmaal 3 required four or five weeks to gather that amount earlier. However, even though they surpassed that number in just three days now, they are not content.
