Now, the actress from Sky Force has recently posted new images featuring the memorial on the anniversary of his passing, which marks 31 years since his death. The emotional daughter wrote a heartfelt message and reminisced about her ‘courageous’ and ‘handsome’ father.

31 years ago today, Nimrat Kaur’s father, a soldier, passed away while serving the country. To honor him, she posted a series of photos on Instagram alongside the memorial where he and 12 other soldiers were remembered. Her mother and sister joined her for this emotional occasion. In her post, she acknowledged that as a young girl, she had struggled to cope with his passing.

Instead of saying “The grown up daughter, however beams with pride, having witnessed the immortalisation of a dream we had as a family after a 3 decade long wait on his birth anniversary last year,” Nimrat could have expressed it more naturally and easily in this way: “Last year on my father’s birthday, I felt so proud to see our long-held dream come true. It was something our family had waited for over three decades, but now it’s immortalized.

Regarding the memorial, she mentioned that they unveiled a Shaheed Monument to pay tribute to him and 12 other courageous individuals who sacrificed their lives while on active service.

Nimrat Kaur stated, “Let this monument serve as a beacon, motivating future generations about the incredible potential that can unfold from a boy who spent his days farming and walked long distances at night to attend school. This remarkable individual graduated from Jodhpur University on a scholarship while captaining the hockey team, completed military training, and ultimately became an exemplary soldier.

Reflecting on my father’s courage, the actress expressed, “Today I honor and commemorate my extraordinary, handsome father – a unique man who embodied valor. I remember him for his actions in life and in sacrifice. In his memory, ‘Satnaam wahe guru.’
