The much-awaited film “Sky Force,” featuring Akshay Kumar as the main character, is slated for release at the start of the upcoming year. The promotional campaign has begun, and they’re planning to debut the first song called “Maaye.” Lyricist Manoj Muntashir recently warned the movie producers about credit in the song’s sneak peek. He declared that he would disassociate himself from the track if not given proper recognition.
On January 7, 2025, the creators behind the upcoming film Sky Force posted a teaser video for their first song titled “Maaye” across various social media outlets. The brief preview began with the phrase ‘Experience the thunder of patriotism.’ It acknowledged the work of musician Tanishk Bagchi and singer B Praak.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m eagerly looking forward to sharing with you all about an upcoming tribute titled “#Maaye – The Anthem of Heroes.” This heartfelt ode honors the valiant souls who have sacrificed everything for the protection of their beloved homeland. Mark your calendars for its release on the 24th of January, 2025, as part of Republic Week. Don’t miss out on experiencing this powerful cinematic masterpiece in theaters with SkyForce! #Maaye #SkyForce #Heroes
Lyricist Manoj Muntashir’s name wasn’t present in the clip. But he was tagged in the caption.
Have a look at his reaction!
In his recent post on Twitter, Manoj Muntashir stated, “Please be aware, @jiostudios, @MaddockFilms, and @saregamaglobal: the song wasn’t merely sung and composed but was also penned by someone who poured every drop of effort and energy into it.
He went on to say, “Leaving a writer’s name out of the opening credits demonstrates a lack of respect for the art and community from the creators.” The author warned, “If this isn’t rectified promptly, even the upcoming main song release tomorrow, I will renounce the song and ensure my voice is heard through the legal system. Disgraceful. @IPRSmusic.
