Kicking off the new year, numerous exciting launches are already gracing shelves. Joining the fray, developer and publisher Rebellion, has unveiled the long-awaited mobile version of Sniper Elite 4 for both iPhone and iPad! What thrills await you with its arrival? Let’s discover together!
In Sniper Elite 4, you play as Karl Fairburne, an elite sniper on a mission in pre-invasion Italy during World War Two. Similar to other games in the series, your tasks aren’t limited to eliminating high-ranking Nazis and disrupting their war effort. You will also be tasked with halting a clandestine weapons project, which if successful, could extend the war for several years.
Just like other games in the series, Sniper Elite 4 offers a wide range of weapons, tools, and equipment to take down opponents. Choose from your trusty sniper rifle, submachine guns, or pistols, and sneak and fire your way through heavily fortified enemy bases while utilizing the signature x-ray view to appreciate your accomplishments.
Shoot to kill
It appears that Apple’s strategy of emphasizing larger and superior updates for their advanced devices isn’t just marketing hype. Just like Capcom, Rebellion is now bringing newer versions of popular game series to iOS, taking advantage of the enhanced capabilities of the latest iPhone and iPad models.
In terms of quality, it appears that Rebellion is banking on high-quality graphics approaching console level and improved controls to captivate fans. The universal purchase option, allowing playability across iPhone, iPad, and Mac with a single payment, is undoubtedly an attractive feature. Additionally, MetalFX upscaling aims to provide precise optimization.
