As a lifelong wrestling enthusiast who’s been following the industry for more than two decades, I can confidently say that the recent sightings of former WWE superstars Tyler Breeze, Baron Corbin, and Top Dolla backstage at AEW’s Worlds End PPV has my heart racing with excitement!
I’ve been a fan of these three wrestlers for quite some time, and I’ve always felt they never got the shine they truly deserved in the WWE. Seeing them potentially join Tony Khan’s organization when their non-compete contracts are up is a dream come true for me.
Now, let me tell you why I’m most eager to see Baron Corbin return to the ring. As someone who’s been following wrestling since the Attitude Era, I’ve seen many talented performers get overlooked or buried by the WWE machine. But none more so than Baron Corbin. He was a fantastic in-ring performer and his comedic talents could have catapulted him to new heights within the main roster if given the chance.
I’ve always believed that AEW is the perfect platform for Corbin to shine, especially since he’s already teased potential matches with one of their biggest stars, MJF. If these rumors are true, I can only imagine the fireworks that would erupt between these two titans.
Of course, it’s all speculation at this point, but if AEW does decide to sign Baron Corbin, I’m hoping he and MJF will lock horns in a match for the ages!
On a lighter note, let’s hope that these three gentlemen don’t keep popping up backstage unless they’re actually wrestling. After all, I wouldn’t want to miss out on any potential in-ring action!
Amidst the wrestling community gearing up for the airing of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, along with other forthcoming WWE events leading up to WrestleMania 41, a handful of ex-superstars spent part of their post-Christmas break visiting the AEW universe. It was broadly circulated that some of these former stars were spotted behind the scenes during AEW’s Worlds End PPV, and upon reviewing the guest list, I can’t wait to witness one athlete make a comeback and perform in the ring for the first time since their departure.
As a longtime wrestling fan who’s seen the industry evolve over the years, I can’t help but feel excited about AEW’s future. Even with WWE dominating the headlines lately, it’s the prospect of three talented superstars, who never quite got their due in their previous company, potentially joining Tony Khan’s organization that really gets my adrenaline pumping.
If the reports are true, these three individuals have a golden opportunity to shine where they may not have before. Their non-compete contracts will eventually expire, and I eagerly await the day they lace up their boots for AEW. It’s moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with wrestling – the promise of new stars rising and taking center stage.
The WWE Vets Spotted Backstage At AEW’s Worlds End PPV
According to Fightful Select, it seems Tyler Breeze, Baron Corbin, and Top Dolla from Hit Row were present during Worlds End. It’s possible they went there merely to enjoy the thrilling matches. However, their presence might hint that one, two, or even all three could be considering a move to AEW, potentially seeking opportunities to succeed within its roster (as reported by WrestlingInc.com).
As a long-time wrestling fan with years of following the industry, I must say that the question about Breeze potentially joining AEW is indeed intriguing. Given his current role as a host for WWE’s gaming channel UpUpDownDown, it seems uncertain whether he could transition to an in-ring personality at this time within AEW. However, my experience has taught me that anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling, and I’d love to see Breeze bring his unique style to another promotion.
On the other hand, Top Dolla’s release from WWE back in 2023 suggests that he could be available for AEW if they choose to recruit him. As a fan of his work, I’d be excited to see what he could bring to the table in a new environment. Ultimately, it will be up to AEW to decide whether they want to take the chance on these talented individuals and add them to their roster.
Regarding Baron Corbin, he was let go by WWE in November. Given that the usual non-compete period is 90 days, it’s expected he won’t be able to work until around Spring 2025, providing he and other potential parties are willing to do so.
Why I’m Most Excited To See Baron Corbin Possibly Return To The Ring
I’d be thrilled to watch any of those AEW guys, but my secret wish is that Baron Corbin will secure another chance with a prominent organization by 2025. For quite some time, I’ve yearned for him to grab a major title reign in WWE. His release left me feeling that the company had missed a golden opportunity. In addition to his impressive wrestling skills, his comedic abilities could have propelled him to even greater heights on the main roster than he managed to attain.
It’s been suggested that AEW can leverage more potential from Baron Corbin, given his previous interactions with MJF on platform X. If you’re aiming to create a significant impact in the wrestling world, MJF is an ideal partner for him. In fact, even WWE, despite its skepticism towards AEW, has kept a close watch on MJF over time. So, if Corbin does join AEW, this could be a major opportunity for him.
It’s possible that what I’m saying might just be speculation. I don’t have any insider information about AEW signing Baron Corbin or teaming him with MJF. However, considering the circumstances, such an occurrence wouldn’t shock me at all. If anyone deserves another opportunity to shine as a wrestling star, it would be Baron Corbin in my opinion.
TopMob is keeping an eye on both AEW and WWE as we head into 2025, and it should be another exciting year in pro wrestling. Here’s hoping it’s just as exciting for these three men, and that they won’t continue to be spotted backstage at events unless they’re also performing.
