As a seasoned crypto investor with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but shake my head at yet another Bitcoin scam, this time targeting the popular South Indian actor Chaitanya. Having fallen victim to such scams myself in the past, I feel a sense of solidarity with his fans who were quick to recognize the fishy nature of the post.
Celebrated South Indian actor Chaitanya’s previous Twitter account, boasting over 2.6 million followers, fell victim to a Bitcoin fraud!
As a crypto investor, I found myself in an unpleasant situation where hackers managed to seize control of my account and disseminated false information that I had acquired 100 BTC for just $50 back in 2013 – which they claimed was now worth an astounding $6 million. In a cunning move, these cyber crooks then solicited opinions from followers about whether or not I should conduct a giveaway. Needless to say, this entire episode was nothing more than a deceptive scam aimed at tricking unsuspecting individuals.
6,400 votes had been cast on the post when it was hacked, leaving 23 hours remaining. Fans swiftly identified the questionable content and advised others against getting tricked. Chaitanya’s group is currently attempting to regain control of the account and alerted followers about the fraudulent activity.
The deleted tweet might allow for the restoration of the account, implying a potential return with fresh updates.
