This development seems plausible considering both Peter Parker and Bruce Banner are scientific minds, yet they haven’t had much interaction within the MCU thus far. Given that they were also friends with Tony Stark, there could be an opportunity for them to connect through their shared grief over his passing.
Some people believe that Bruce hasn’t received as much attention as he should have in the MCU recently. His latest appearance was in She-Hulk, however, that story primarily centered around his cousin rather than him. In the last instance, Bruce appeared out of space with his son Skaar, but this aspect has not been revisited within the MCU. Essentially, Bruce has been absent for quite some time now.
