As a dedicated sneakerhead with a penchant for all things vibrant and fresh, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Sporty & Rich x adidas Originals SL72 drops! With my roots tracing back to Sweden, the “Mint Rush/Power Purple/Cream White” and “Light Yellow/Real Blue/Footwear White” colorways speak right to my heart. These sneakers aren’t just a fashion statement; they’re a testament to the fusion of cultures that make up my identity.
Product Name: Sporty & Rich x adidas Originals SL72
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Sporty & Rich has unveiled not one but two fresh collaborative adidas Originals designs! Having already showcased the Sweden-inspired adidas Originals SL72 sneaker this past spring, which Emily Oberg, the founder, referred to as a tribute to her Swedish heritage, we’ve finally gotten a glimpse of the stunning blue and yellow images for this popular design. But that’s not all! The vibrant “Mint Rush” version of the SL72 is also making its debut – adding another burst of color to my collection!
The “Light Yellow” and “Real Blue”, along with “Footwear White” and “Mint Rush” together create a harmonious pairing. The upper part, made of smooth leather, pairs with a synthetic lining for a lightweight, soft feel that also promises an exceptionally comfortable fit. An EVA midsole is integrated for added lightness and cushioning across the entire shoe design. A white “Sporty & Rich” logo adorns both versions, sitting atop the three stripes.
After the comprehensive Olympics launch by Sporty & Rich x adidas Originals, featuring three dual-concept adidas shoes, the New York brand now introduces its initial attempt at revamping the classic adidas shoe design with its versions of the SL72.
Two color options are planned for release in November. Keep checking TopMob for further updates as they become known.
