- Doctor Who: Lost in Time and Star Trek: Lower Decks are set to cross over
- Both developed by Eastside Games, the two titles will see characters hop universes from one game to another
- The crossover starts August 1st!
1. “The mobile game ‘Doctor Who: Lost in Time,’ inspired by the popular BBC sci-fi show, is partnering with ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ spin-off. This collaboration will allow players to delve into various settings, encounter distinct characters, and more in a crossover event called ‘Doctor Who: Lost in Time’ and ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks – The Badgey Directive,’ starting on August 1st.”
1. Onboard the U.S.S. Cerritos, Star Trek: Lower Decks offers a suitable perspective on the lesser-known crew members in Starfleet and their ordinary lives within the Federation. Conversely, Doctor Who requires no introduction as the renowned BBC science fiction show chronicles the adventures of the Time Lord Doctor and his fellow travelers as they explore time and the cosmos.
On International Friendship Day, it seems particularly appropriate that for the first time ever, Doctor Who will collaborate with Star Trek on this special day.
Worlds collide
Although some might find the religious jargon used in the announcement somewhat overblown, there’s no denying it’s quite a significant blend. For years, fans of Star Trek and Doctor Who (if “Whovians” isn’t familiar, don’t worry, it’s just a nickname for them) have been eagerly anticipating a fusion of these two iconic science fiction franchises. So, it’s quite a source of satisfaction to note that this long-awaited encounter is taking place initially on mobile devices.
