As a lifelong Star Trek enthusiast and someone who has spent countless hours discussing the finer points of warp drive and Klingon philosophy with fellow fans, the news that Nickelodeon Land is opening a Star Trek attraction in Antalya, Turkey, has me positively beaming. I’ve attended every convention, watched every series, and even cosplayed as a few lesser-known characters (the Ferengi barber is a personal favorite), so this development feels like the culmination of a lifetime of passion for this beloved franchise.
With anticipation for new Star Trek series diminishing, there’s exhilarating news on another horizon: It appears the cherished franchise will debut a theme park attraction! This surprising turn of events has me buzzing with excitement. However, what excites me most about this development is a particular aspect of it.
2025, I can hardly contain my excitement! In January of that year, Nickelodeon Land will unveil The Land of Legends right in Antalya, Turkey, as Globe Trender has announced. This new piece of the theme park promises a treasure trove of attractions based on shows from Nickelodeon, including the latest addition to my Netflix queue – Star Trek: Prodigy. The anticipation is real, and I can’t help but humbly ask the universe (or TopMob, if you’re listening) to make a miracle happen: send me on an adventure to Turkey in 2025 to immerse myself in this legendary land!
Star Trek Is Getting A Ride Based On Prodigy
Among those who think so, I’m included in the group that considers Prodigy Season 2 to be one of the top-tier seasons of contemporary Trek. Given its exceptional quality, it’s only fitting that it will have a lasting presence at the Turkish theme park with an exclusive ride. Few details are available about what’s being referred to as the Star Trek: Wild Galaxy 5D cinema. However, considering typical cinema rides and theme parks, I would guess that it’s a visually immersive experience combined with moving seats and various visual effects to create the sensation of being aboard a Starfleet vessel.
It appears there are some queries regarding an “5D” experience. While readers are likely familiar with 3D and 4D, it seems that 5D is more commonly associated with thrill rides that stimulate all five senses for a fully immersive experience. In essence, this could potentially mean the most engaging Star Trek experience currently available. Interestingly, Star Trek: Prodigy, due to its animated nature, might be an ideal platform to exhibit such immersion. However, it’s important to clarify that this should not be seen as a substitute for the yet-to-be-confirmed Season 3.

The Themed Hotel Rooms Would Let Me Live My Starfleet Dreams
The notion of a Star Trek theme park attraction is great. As cool as that is, however, the fact that there will be themed rooms available at the Nickelodeon resort that resemble living quarters for Starfleet members is just incredible. The options range from the standard-themed room, a deluxe option and the outstanding “Star Trek Iconic Suite” that looks like a Ready Room that any Captain would be envious of.
As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but feel like I’ve been beamed straight into a Starfleet quarters! I truly hope these exceptional living spaces start popping up in more theme parks that Nickelodeon collaborates with globally. While Paramount has undeniably done an impressive job displaying original props from The Next Generation and collaborating with conventions to make numerous events accessible for fans, the theme park aspect could use some enhancement.
This type of encounter might serve as a more affordable option compared to the renowned Star Trek Cruise, yet I haven’t discovered any pricing details for it yet. Personally speaking, I would be eager to use every penny my employer provides to witness it firsthand, even though attending it may seem like an unattainable fantasy at this moment.
We still have a while before the official opening of this attraction, so continue to stream Star Trek with a Paramount+ subscription to pass the time until January 2025.
